Black Country Museum Senior Missionaries Activity

A few weeks ago we got together with several Senior Missionaries in our Mission, totalling about 20 people. We didn’t have to be anywhere special to enjoy each other. They are all awesome people who are mostly from England and America, serving as Member/Leader/Support missionaries like us, or Mission Office staff, Public Affairs, Records Preservation, or Flat Inspectors. President and Sister Leppard and their visiting family also joined us. The Black Country is the area near Birmingham which was black from coal mines, and the industries that surrounded them, in the 1800’s. The museum captures that living history. We had a tour of a reconstructed coal mine, a schoolhouse, a pastry shop, an authentic fish and chips shop, a chapel, the canal side dock, a 1890’s carnival…So fun!

Cheerio!
