With as much gratitude as we feel these days, I think it took three Thanksgiving dinners to do it justice, plus a lovely “White Friday” to complete the picture!
Our first Thanksgiving was last week in Birmingham at the church next to the Mission Home. We met with all the Senior Missionaries of our mission. We had so much fun talking and soaking up all those wonderful people that we forgot to take pictures till the end, but here goes!
Our second Thanksgiving was with the ten missionaries in our District on Wednesday. We had a wonderful weekly district meeting, then went to Toby Carvery, where our meal was prepared for us! Fun to be with these wonderful young missionaries!
Lastly, sweet members of the nearby Cheltenham Ward invited us to join them for their yummy dinner with American and English families on Thursday.
Our “White Friday” was a lovely visit to the London Temple. Leaving behind the craziness of the traditional Black Friday and though there were grey skies, it was a beautiful white day in the temple!
The Nativity scene was just put up in time for us!
Our wonderful ward friends joined us that evening! Such a sweet experience to be together!
‘So much to be thankful for!!!! Cheerio!
