“Meet the Mormons” Stroud Ward Activity

On Saturday we had a great ward activity, “Meet the Mormons”. The ward council set up the night before, using some wonderful banners provided by the Area Public Affairs office. Many of the ward members put their profile on the Church website, which were printed and posted to read. Awesome conversions stories and testimonies! Several ward members walked down the hill to the Stroud Market, where people come from all over to visit the shops, booths, entertainment, food… They set up a large banner and handed out invitations to our open house. David M., the main organizer, estimated that there were over 200 conversations about the Church. Meanwhile, at the church, the documentary, “Meet the Mormons” was showed to several that hadn’t seen it before and people visited, read the banners and profiles, talked to people passing by and enjoyed the whole experience!
