Last Saturday, we went to a really fun Stake Activity at Newbridge Farm, which is owned by the Gardiners who live in Hereford Ward, a little beyond Dymock, where we had visited just days prior. We gathered on a huge lawn and had dinner, pork sandwiches from a large roasted pig, very delicious. It was a beautiful summer afternoon and it was fun to see so many members from the stake gathered together and enjoying the comradery. [Wayne G., the owner, was very instrumental in the acquisition of the Gadfield Elm Chapel for the Church and his wife is in the Stake Primary presidency. They open their farm up to visitors in the summer and, after the public time, shared it with the stake this evening.]
Great feeling of friendship and fellowship! Happy times! Cheerio!
