A wonderful highlight was our Christmas Zone Conference on Friday, December 5th at the Rhibina chapel, just north of Cardiff. We got there quite early at 8:30 am when surprisingly we didn’t have trouble with the morning traffic. We decided to run over to the Caerphilly Castle, just 3 miles (8 minutes) away. It was awesome to see the sunrise in the background (‘didn’t quite capture it, though, on camera). We were surprised how close it was to the road. We hopped out, took photos and then went back to the chapel for our wonderful zone conference. It was a lovely feast of the spirit, a renewal of our awe at the wonderful young missionaries, and a great time of commitment and love for the work. I wish we could take photos of the best part in the chapel, being taught, and the music numbers during the program after lunch. The fuzzy one is to capture the motion and flurry after a group photo was taken.
Sorry to be lazy and not do the individual captions! Someday we’ll plan so we don’t have to do a rush job!!!!The photos on the end were during a walk we took on Saturday, with frost on the ground. It’s getting really cold–the damp kind of cold that gets to your bones–but still there were roses blooming–so we can bloom too!!! Cheerio!
